Returning Level 1 officials will attend clinics specifically for them.  Level 1 officials do not attend Level 2 clinics.  All returning officials must complete this checklist to be eligible to officiate games.  Officials that do not attend the appropriate clinics will not be assigned to games.

1.  Join or renew your membership in US Lacrosse.

2.  Renew your membership in Northern California Lacrosse Referees Association by paying your dues.  Send a check to the address below, or use Paypal.  You will not be assigned games until you have paid your dues.

3.  Attend the classroom training session for your Level.

4.  Avoid injury and loss of work by conditioning and getting ready for the season.

5.  Attend an on-field evaluation clinic for your Level.  Contact David Bagdan for information regarding your level.  The game schedule will be available on the Arbiter by February 15.

6.  After completing classroom and field clinics, Level 1, 2 and 3 officials must take the appropriate test for their level. Only current US Lacrosse members will be able to access the test.  Information about the test will be distributed after the classroom and field clinics, but feel free to take it at any time.  You must pass the test with a score of 80% or better.

All game assignments are made online at www.arbitersports.com.  Provided your performance is where it should be, and your availability and contact info is accurate, you'll have plenty of assignments.

8.  Update your uniform.  The basic uniform will be discussed at the clinic and is available at referee uniform supply stores.  You WILL need a timer.
